Cara grew up in the Northeast Kingdom and is excited to give back to the community by helping build the Children’s Museum of the NEK into a space where families can learn, explore, and connect. Working with the museum combines her passion for creative storytelling with a mission-driven purpose—helping children and families engage in hands-on discovery.

She holds a BA in Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College and brings experience in both social work and social media management. Cara is especially enthusiastic about amplifying the museum’s voice, building stronger community connections, and ensuring the museum becomes a vital part of family life in the region.

In addition to her professional skills, Cara is also a local artist and baker. She currently lives in Burlington, VT.
