Help us open the doors to a larger Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom by September 1, 2027.

The Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom opened its doors in February 2026 with a simple idea: children and families in the Northeast Kingdom deserve an extraordinary place to learn, play, create, and explore close to home.

The community response has exceeded our expectations. In our first five months, 1,484 visitors from 46 communities came through our doors only two days a week. Families have visited from throughout the Northeast Kingdom and beyond. We are now open 3 days a week and busy!

Now we are ready for the next step.

Our Goal: A Larger Museum by September 1, 2027

365 Days. $100,000. One Bigger Museum.

Our current pilot museum has shown us what is possible—and also how much more we could do with additional space.

We are launching the Building Our Future Campaign to raise $100,000 toward expanding the Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom into a larger home.

A larger museum will give us room for:

  • More hands-on, interactive exhibits

  • Expanded early childhood and educational programming

  • Experiences celebrating the art, history, culture, environment, and people of the Northeast Kingdom

  • School and community partnerships

  • More opportunities for children of different ages and abilities ( 0-12 years of age)

  • Space for families to learn and explore together

Our long-term vision is to create a vibrant, year-round educational and cultural destination for families throughout the Northeast Kingdom and for visitors to our region.
