Help Us Build a Permanent Downtown Home

The Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom (CMNEK) is growing — and we need your help.

We’re looking for a free or low-cost space in downtown St. Johnsbury to serve as a long-term home for our exhibits and programs. We are looking for sponsors, partners, and donors to support our mission. Our mission is to bring hands-on, joyful, educational experiences to children and families across the Northeast Kingdom — and we’d love to do it right here in the heart of our community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An indoor space (10,000 sq ft)

  • Parking for families

  • Safe and accessible for children and families with a handicap accessible bathroom

  • Available weekdays and/or weekends

  • Short-term lease, donation, or long-term collaboration welcome!

Ideal Spaces Might Include:

  • Vacant storefronts

  • Community rooms

  • Church halls

  • Event spaces

  • Unused school rooms

  • Town-owned buildings

We are a registered Vermont nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status pending, and we’re happy to collaborate with local landlords, the town, and community partners to create something beautiful and impactful for our region’s children.
