Sharon Adams is a retired Early Childhood Specialist with an MS in education administration and a BS in early childhood education who lives in Waterford, Vermont. She joined the Board of Directors for the Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom to connect more deeply with the community and help create meaningful learning experiences for children.

Sharon is especially excited about the museum’s mission of helping children feel proud of where they live and encouraging a strong connection to the Northeast Kingdom. She brings valuable experience in strategic planning, curriculum development, and child development, along with a lifelong passion for supporting children and families.

At CMNEK, Sharon is particularly passionate about books and literacy-based experiences that inspire imagination, curiosity, and learning. One of the things she loves most about the Northeast Kingdom is its natural beauty and the sense of place it creates for children growing up in the region.
