Every dollar donated will be matched 1:1, doubling the impact for the Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom.

With the generous support of an anonymous donor, your dollars will go twice as far as we raise up to $20,000 in support of children's learning and development here in the Northeast Kingdom! This fundraising goal allows our team to establish long-term storage for the activities and games your children have enjoyed so far this season. Having storage and transportation for these materials will allow us to use them for many seasons to come!

We are working hard at CMNEK HQ to develop exhibits, games and puzzles that will delight the children of the Kingdom. We are heartened by the popularity and excitement around our Final Fridays pop-ups, and we can't wait to bring that effervescent joy to more children throughout Essex, Orleans and Caledonia counties. Our dream for families with young children to have a safe, welcoming space to meet their developmental needs. As the Kingdom is our home as well, we know how little ones can struggle through the long winter months. Our thoughtfully-designed third space brings local communities together and engages kids with the history and culture of the Northeast Kingdom. We aim to help children create deep connections to our resources, historical significance, and creative spirit from which they can benefit throughout their lives, here or elsewhere.

When you donate to this campaign, you will have the opportunity to join a county team for some friendly competition. Feel free to join your home county or another! Once we reach our goal, the team with the largest share of donations will be celebrated on our social media pages. We will visit that county and speak to locals about our museum project.
