Special Spring Storytime- Featuring “Henrietta the Chicken” and the Story of Henrietta’s Eggs.

Join us for a very special spring - themed puppet story time at the Children’s Museum of the Northeast Kingdom! Meet Henrietta the Hen, a friendly farm chicken who lives right here in the Northeast Kingdom. Through gentle stortytelling and puppetry, children will learn how eggs hatch, how farmers care for animals in the spring, and what new life looks like on a Vermont farm after a long winter.

After story time, children are invited to participate in a museum-wide “Egg Discovery Hunt” and visit our Spring ARt table for farm-themed coloring pages and a junior farmer certificate.

This special story time celebrates:

• Spring in Vermont

• Farming and agriculture in the NEK

• Life cylces and animal care

• Imaginiative play and story telling.

No live animals -just creative learning, puppets, and hands on fun.

Space is limited for 10:30 a.m. story circle, so arrive early to get a good seat.
